IPL: Warner first batsman to win Orange Cap thrice

Australian opener David Warner, who won the Orange Cap in the just concluded IPL, became the first batsman to achieve the feat thrice in the tournament's history. In 12 matches for Sunrisers Hyderabad, Warner scored 692 runs and ended up topping the list of run-scorers in 2019 IPL. Apart from Warner, Chris Gayle has won the Orange Cap twice, in 2011 & 2012.
