The Sri Lankan authorities on Monday reimposed a curfew, few hours after it was lifted, in Hettipola, Kuliyapitiya, Bingiriya and Dummalasuriya towns. The curfew was imposed again following a communal clash in the afternoon at Hettipola and will be effective till 4:00 am, Tuesday. Earlier in the the morning, the Lankan govt also reimposed a ban on social media.
